Job Summary
The Sales Engineer bridges technical expertise and sales, analyzing client needs, delivering product demonstrations, and designing solutions that fit customer requirements. This role ensures a seamless customer journey from first pitch to technical onboarding and supports revenue goals by aligning tailored solutions with business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
- Analyze customer technical requirements and recommend optimal product solutions.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to relay client feedback and implement improvements.
- Respond to RFPs (Requests for Proposal) and provide documentation or proposals.
- Support the sales cycle by acting as a technical liaison and trusted advisor.
- Create solution designs and conduct proof-of-concept trials where needed.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships post-sale for ongoing support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 2–4 years of experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role.
